Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Ricardian Equivalence Hypothesis as measured by using the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Inflation (INF) and External Debt (ULN) variabels on Public Consumption (CONS) in Indonesia for the 1995-2018 period. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the World Bank website. The data analysis method used in this study was the Error Correction Model (ECM) method. The results of this study indicate that in the long run the variabels of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Inflation (INF) and External Debt (ULN) have a significant effect on public consumption in Indonesia for the 1995-2018 period
