Abstract
Cleaning service work plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness of the office or agency, starting from the cleanliness of the environment around the office, cleaning the floor, to maintaining the cleanliness of the glass. In an office that has a multi-story building, how to manually clean the glass above that height is very risky. So, a tool is needed to simplify or even replace the work of cleaning glass manually, so that it is expected to be able to reduce the risk of work accidents when cleaning the glass in the upper building. In this final project, the author makes a hardware design in the form of a prototype of a wireless glass cleaner that can be controlled remotely. This glass cleaner is controlled using an Android smartphone by sending commands to the HC-05 Bluetooth. The Bluetooth HC-05 functions as a communication medium with Arduino. Arduino as the main microcontroller acts as a data processor and gives orders to the water pump to spray glass cleaning fluid, then Arduino also gives orders to the Driver to drive the stepper motor. The stepper motor is in charge of moving the wiper up and down. With a relatively small error value and a command time delay that is not too long, it will make the glass cleaning job easier. The connectivity distance of the device is also quite far 12 m with barriers in the form of 5 mm thick window glass, 4 cm wooden door boards, and 14 cm walls. The lowest data transmission delay is 00.09 seconds and the farthest is 07.07 seconds.
