Abstract
Indonesia is a maritime country with good wind potential, although not as good as sub-tropical countries. Currently, indonesia’s electricity consumption is still based on the conversion of nonrenewable resources, and its availability is limited. Wind energy has a lot of promise for renewable energy in Indonesia, and one way to utilise it is to create a Wind Power Plant (PLTB) Using a micro-scale generator is a good way to go. Using electromagnetic induction, the generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. A permanent magnet generator with three-phase flux is an useful generator to employ. The generator utilized in this topic is a 12 slot 8 pole permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). The goal of the research is to compare the material's efficiency.included in the generator utilizing Magnet 7.5 program's software, the simulation results are in the form of data, and then analysis is performed to evaluate which efficiency material is best. The rotor core is the generator's core, and there are numerous rotor core materials to choose from in this simulation, including: Carpenter Silicon Steel with TR52:USS Transformer 52-29 gage by varying the generator's RPM and load. The highest voltage value of 89 volts was produced with a spinning speed of 5000 rpm, according to the findings of the simulations.
