Abstract

Distance learning is a teaching and learning activity from home using virtual learning. This learning cannot be separated from the use of gadgets. Long duration of using the device can cause neck pain complaints. Neck pain occurs because of the long duration it can increase the angle of flexion in the neck. The increased flexion angle results in heavier weight on the neck and increases contraction of the neck muscles.Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between the duration of device use during distance learning and neck pain in college students.Methods: This study uses the correlation method. This correlation method is used to determine the level of the relationship between the duration of device use during distance learning and neck pain in students. Results: The test results used Spearman's rho with correlation coefficient 0.155 and p value 0.125. Conclusion: This study shows that there is no significant relationship between the duration of the use of devices during distance learning with neck pain in college students.
