Abstract
This study aimed to describe the fish fillet business management strategy at UD Villa Kurnia Bahari Batang during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a qualitative research with a case study research design that uses data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and documentation. The object of this research is UD Villa Kurnia Bahari Batang and the subjects in this study are the owner, finance department, and employees. The validity of the data is using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The analytical techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the fillet fish business management strategy during the Covid-19 pandemic at UD Villa Kurnia Bahari has implemented aspects of POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). However, these management functions do not yet have an organizational structure and division of departments based on the main business functions, namely Marketing, Finance, Production, and Human Resources. The problems faced by UD Villa Kurnia Bahari now are limited raw materials so that UD Villa Kurnia Bahari must always stock up so that consumer demand is met and there are also problems in the distribution of goods. The income at UD Villa Kurnia Bahari Batang during the Covid-19 pandemic also decreased, this was due to a decrease in demand from consumers. For further researchers, it is recommended to increase the number of subjects so that the data obtained is more detailed and varied.
