Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo is one of the schools that are vulnerable to flooding. Knowledge about flood disasters is an important thing that must be given. The use of interactive video will facilitate teachers in imparting knowledge. This study aims to determine (1) the development of interactive videos about flood disaster at SMK Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo, (2) feasibility of developing flood disaster videos interactive, (3) effectiveness of flood disaster interactive videos. This research method is research and development (R&D) with used the Borg & Gall development model. Testing the feasibility of product development using the results of data analysis derived from the assessment of matter experts, media experts, teacher coaches, and 30 students. Testing the effectiveness of the product using the results of pre-test and post-test data from respondents as many as 30 students who took part in PMR extracurricular activities at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo.The software of application used in made interactive video is Adobe Flash CS6. The data analysis techniquetht used to test the feasibility of the media is descriptive quantitative, while the effectiveness of the media used the T-test and N-Gain test. The results are: (1) the development of an interactive flood disaster video was made using the R&D method with the Borg & Gall development model. (2). Based on the feasibility assessment of the media by subject matter experts, media experts, teacher coaches, and 30 students the results an average value of 4.6. This indicated that the media is feasible to be used and included in the "Good" category. (3) Based on the pre-test and post-test assessments, the results that the average score of students has increased by 20,5 (30,5%), with a pre-test is 64,5 while the post-test is 85. The results of the Paired Sample Test hypothesis test show a significance value of 0.000 or <0.05 which indicates Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted so that there is a difference between the results of the pretest and posttest. The N-gain test resulted a value of 0.73 which means the value is "effective". Based on this, it resulted that interactive videos as learning media is effectively used in learnt because it is able to increase the knowledge of students who take participated PMR extracurricular activities in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoahrjo about flood disaster.
