Abstract
Merak Manis UKM is one of the Batik UKM located in Kampung Batik Laweyan which produces hand-drawn batik and stamped batik. The production process of written batik and stamped batik uses different raw materials of wax. Written batik uses new wax and stamped batik uses recycled wax. With the production process there are inefficiencies. Data processing uses the Life Cycle Assessment method to compare the environmental impacts resulting from the production of the two types of batik. The data was processed using Simapro 9.1.1.7 software. The eco cost for hand-drawn batik was Rp. 13,592,098,603 and for stamped batik, it was Rp. 12,134,692,196. Next is the result of the Eco Efficiency Index on hand-drawn batik of 1.14 and stamped batik of 1.3, which means that both types of batik processes are affordable and sustainable. The value of Eco Efficiency Ratio for hand-drawn batik is 13% and stamped batik is 24%, meaning that the production process of stamped batik is more efficient.
