Abstract
These research purpose are; describe the effectiveness of using Microsoft 365 as a distance learning medium at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta, and reveals the support and the obstacle’s factors the effectiveness of using Microsoft 365 as a distance learning medium at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. The qualitative method with an case studies is used for this research. These research participants are; the headmaster, two teachers, and six students of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. Interview, observation, and documentation are used for collecting the data. Techniques of data analyzing are; data condensation, data presentation, and concluding. Based on the result of the effectiveness of using Microsoft 365 as a distance learning medium at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta it is reviewed by the level of media interest, the level of enjoyment of students in the media, the level of ease of understanding the material and subject matter in the media, the application of Microsoft 365, collaborative learning. Learning and assessment through Microsoft 365, and the readiness of teacher to manage and operate Microsoft 365. The inhibiting factors for the effectiveness of using Microsoft 365 as a distance learning medium at SMK Batik 2 Surakarta are; an unstable network, students dont have data packets for, and the readiness of teachers to manage Microsoft 365 at the time of learning. The solution to overcome the obstacles that occur are the students who are constrained by the network can move places to get a strong signal or can also come to school to access wifi for students whose homes are close to the school, the school provides assistance in the form of data packages to students, parties the school provides socialization and training to teachers regarding the operation and management of Microsoft 365.
