Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of mediating financial performance on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and institutional investors. This research is a quantitative study using secondary data in the form of annual reports and financial statements of banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. The technique used in sampling in this study is a purposive sampling technique which produces 31 selected samples for research. This research uses eviews software to process research data. The data analysis used is the classical assumption test and panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that financial performance has a significant positive effect on corporate social responsibility on institutional investors and positive influence on financial performance on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and institutional investors in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. Meanwhile, social responsibility has no effect on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the IDX in 2017-2020.
