Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine: 1) the effect of intrinsic motivation on the learning achievement of 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Tumang; 2) the influence of democratic parenting on the learning achievement of 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Tumang; 3) the influence of intrinsic motivation and democratic parenting on the learning achievement of 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Tumang. The sample of this research is the 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Tumang. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The prerequisite tests for data analysis in this research are normality test, linearity test, and homogeneity test. Test the hypothesis by using analytical tests, namely t-test and F-test. The results showed that the intrinsic motivation t-test was t-count 6.464 > t-table 2.042. The results of the t-test of democratic parenting are t-count 6.274 > t-table 2.042, and the F-test results obtained are f-count 38.901 > f-table 2.93. It can be concluded that 1) there is a significant influence between intrinsic motivation on learning achievement of 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Tumang; 2) there is a significant influence between democratic parenting on the learning achievement of 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Tumang; 3) there is a significant influence between intrinsic motivation and democratic parenting on the learning achievement of 5th grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Tumang.
