Abstract

The Purpose of thos research were: 1) The influence of financial literacy on the lifestyle of teenagers in Baki Village. 2) The influence of peers on the lifestyle of teenagers in Baki Village. 3) The influence of financial literacy and peers on the lifestyle of teenagers in Baki Village. This type of research is quantitative using a survey design. The population of this study amounted to 140. Samples were taken as many as 103 teenagers. The data collection method uses a questionnaire method that has been tested with validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study obtained the regression equation Y = 9,824+9,824X1+0,524X2. Shows that adolescent lifestyle is influenced by financial literacy and peers. Can be concluded: 1) Financial literacy affects the lifestyle of teenagers in Baki Village. Based on the results of the regression analysis (t test) it is known that the t-count value (2.237) > t-table (1.983) with a significant value of 0.027 <0.05. The relative contribution is 22.5% and the effective contribution is 5.9%. 2) Peers have an effect on the lifestyle of teenagers in Baki Village. Based on the results of the regression analysis (t test) it is known that the t-count value (4.840) > t-table (1.983) with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The relative contribution is 77.5% and the effective contribution is 20.3%. 3) Financial literacy and peers influence the lifestyle of teenagers in Baki Village. Based on the results of the regression analysis (F test) it is known that Fcount (17.742) > Ftable (3.09) with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Shows that teenagers' lifestyles tend to be the same with a combination followed by an increase in financial literacy and peers. The coefficient of determination is 26.2%, which means that there is an influence of a combination of financial literacy variables and peers on adolescent lifestyles by 26.2%, while the rest is influenced by other variables.
