Abstract

This study aims to find out how companies build professionalism related to the Triple Helix (Academic, Business & Government) and Performance. To conduct this research, the researcher took 72 respondents who are small and medium enterprises (SMEs) family companies. This study uses quantitative methods. The variables used in this study are one dependent variable, namely company performance and three independent variables, namely involvement with universities, industry associations, government and one intervening variable, namely professionalism. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of this study Involvement of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises with Universities has no positive and insignificant effect on company performance, Involvement of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises with Industry Associations has no positive and insignificant effect on company performance, Involvement of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises , and Medium Enterprises with the Government have a positive and significant effect on company performance, Involvement of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises with Universities has a positive and significant effect on Professionalism, Involvement of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises with Industry Associations has a positive and significant effect on Professionalism, Engagement Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises with the Government on Professionalism have no positive and insignificant effect, the involvement of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises with Universities and Industry Associations has a positive effect on Company Performance through Professionalism lism, supported. Meanwhile, the involvement of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises with the government does not affect the Company's Performance through Professionalism.
