Abstract

This study aims to describe, the process, effectiveness, constraints and solutions to the use of the Audiovisual Pawtoon media combination of the Contextual approach as a means of increasing understanding of the values of the Indonesian Unity in Class XI TKJ 1 students of SMK Negeri 1 Sragen in the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of research is a combination of quantitative and qualitative (Mixed Method). This research design uses a qualitative approach using case studies. This research method uses a pre-experimental type of experiment. Qualitative data collection techniques using interviews and observations. Quantitative data collection using tests. The validity of the data in a qualitative approach uses two kinds of triangulation, namely techniques and data sources. Test the validity of the test items using the Correlation Product Moment formula with rough numbers. Test the reliability of the test instrument using the KR formula. 20. The results showed that t count was greater than t table, namely 8.442> 2.0281 with a significance level of 0.05. The pretest average score of 72.92 increased to 83.75 at posttest. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the proposed hypothesis HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a difference in understanding the values of the Indonesian Unity in class XI TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 1 Sragen in the 2020/2021 academic year between before (Pretest) and after (Posttest) being given treatment through the use of Audiovisual Pawtoon media with a combination of contextual approaches. This difference indicates an increase in the mean score of understanding the values of the Indonesian Association between before (Pretest) and after (Posttest). The obstacle faced in this study is the limited time related to the implementation of the research. An alternative solution to overcome these obstacles is that researchers must be good at managing time well. Based on the above conclusions, it implies that if you want to improve your understanding of the values of the Indonesian Unity, then one of he right alternatives is through learning sing audiovisual media, a combination of contextual approaches.
