Abstract

The consumption of electrical energy for the household sector and business industry has increased in various ways every year, this is due to the impact of increasing population growth every year and the rapidly growing economy. It must be ensured that the availability of electrical energy for the community and business industry is fulfilled properly and appropriately. The scarcity of electrical energy has a negative effect on society, where in the current era there is a lot of use of electrical energy in everyday life. To find out the number of customers, energy consumption, and connected power needed by the community and the business industry in the future, this study was compiled using the DKL 3.2 (Electricity Demand List) model forecast. Forecast calculations are prepared using a sectoral approach, namely the household, business, general, and industrial sectors. The data needed for this research were taken at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Boyolali and BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) Boyolali Regency. This forecast starts from 2021-2026 by taking data that has existed for the last 5 years. The results of the forecast in 2026 show that the most customers are in the household sector with 215,973 customers, the highest energy consumption is in the industrial sector at 436.04 GWh, and the largest connected power is in the industrial sector at 510,421.15 kVA.
