Abstract
Graduate Learning Achievement 8 in the Curriculum of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta requires students to master communication techniques and the latest technological developments. As a result of the pandemic, the scheme and implementation of Practicum PTI 1 changed. By utilizing Solidworks 2016 and CAD/CAM features, machining process planning and cost analysis can be done from home due to online learning limitations during the pandemic. The practicum module is benchmarking tests against similar learning modules and validation tests are conducted to determine if the module is materially appropriate and feasible. Modules are prepared according to the competence of students in practicum with the results of machine simulation using Solidworks Costing. The results of the design of the module that is appropriate for competence are then conducted validation tests with respondents of the PTI 1 2020 Assistant Team. The respondent's assessment yielded a score of 4.17 with good criteria. Improvement suggestions from respondents are applied to produce the right modules applied to the PTI 1 practicum during online and offline course.
