Abstract

This study aims to describe the content of religious values, and the use of songs by Ahmad Muhibbin as a learning medium of Civic Education. This research method uses qualitative approach with content analysis design in the form of symbols, classifying data with criteria, and making predictions with certain analytical techniques. Qualitative research is used to understand deeply about the meaning or religious message contained in the lyrics of the song. The data collection technique in this study is by documentation in the form of a lyric taken through Youtube channel and Smule application. The results of this study describe the meaning / message, background of the appearance of lyrics / text, ideality, and reality of the song based on the findings of religious value indicators in the form of commitment to the commandments and prohibitions of God, eager to study religious teachings, active in religious activities, appreciate religious symbols, familiar with the scriptures, and use religious approaches in making choices, then grouped by song lyrics in accordance with the indicator. The use of songs as learning media Civic Education, in this study used the song as the main theme in the creation of learning media in the form of posters, animated video, and twibbon.
