Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Leadership and Teamwork Implementation on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable (Study on Sate Kambing Mas Wal Culinary Business). This explanatory research uses a sample of 60 employees at Sate Goat Mas Wal. The leadership variable in this study is broken down into 2 variables, namely transformational and transactional, in order to compare which leadership is better applied in Sate Goat Mas Wal. Methods of collecting data using a questionnaire and processed using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study indicate that Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance and Job Satisfaction. However, Transformational Leadership has no effect on employee performance which is mediated by job satisfaction. However, this result is contrary to the results of Transactional Leadership where the direct effect on employee performance has no effect. Meanwhile, the effect of Transactional Leadership on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect. And the influence of Teamwork on Employee Performance has a positive and significant effect. Likewise with the influence of Teamwok on Employee Performance which is mediated by job satisfaction. Even so, the direct influence of Teamwork on Employee Performance is stronger. The novelty of this study is that research on the effect of Transformational Leadership, Transactional and Teamwork on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction has not been found in the population of Sate Kambing Mas Wal employees and with Sate Kambing Mas Wal employees as respondents as well. The implication of this research is that employee performance can be increased by precisely implementing good leadership and teamwork.
