Abstract
This study aims to describe the behavior of used clothing consumers in Notoharjo Surakarta Klitikan Market and to describe the factors that influence the behavior of used clothing consumers in Notoharjo Surakarta Klitikan Market. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study design. The object of this study was the behavior of used clothing consumers in Notoharjo Klitikan Market, while the subjects in this study were used clothing consumers. The data collection techniques in this study used in-depth interviews, observations and documentation. Validity of data used source triangulation and triangulation method. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the behavior of used clothing consumers in Notoharjo Klitikan Market is divided into 4 namely buying used clothes because of the low price of clothing, buying because of the quality of quality clothing, buying used clothes because of the needs that must be met, buying used clothes to look attractive or trendy. The factors that affect consumer behavior in Notoharjo Klitikan Market consist of 5 factors, namely culturals factors, economic condition factors, occupational factors, reference group and family factors, and lifestyle factors. This factor makes consumers choose to buy used clothes compared to new clothes.
