Abstract

The development of industrialization has a strategic role to support a fairly high sustainable economic growth and increase the physical production of the community through the expansion of business fields and expanding job opportunities. This study aims to estimate the effect of business units, wages, production value, and investment on the employment of fish processing industry in the Pantura Region of Central Java Province in 2000-2018 using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of the study found that all variables had a positive effect on employment in the marine fish processing industry in the Pantura area of Central Java Province.
