Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had significant impact on the world of education, especially universities. Students must adapt to new conditions in their learning process through distance learning (online). The many challenges and difficulties faced by students in implementing distance learning require academic resilience. Academic resilience can be formed through high religiosity so that students survive with all existing conditions. This study aimed to examine the relationship between religiosity and academic resilience of Muslim students during distance learning during the pandemic. The hypothesis proposed by the researcher is that there is a positive relationship between religiosity and academic resilience of Muslim students during distance learning during the pandemic. The research subjects were 109 Muslim students. The sampling text used is purposive sampling with subject criteria, namely (1) active college students, (2) Muslim, (3) participating in distance learning (online). This quantitative research uses a measuring instrument in the form of a scale of religiosity and academic resilience scale. Analysis of data with product-moment correlation using the SPSS version 22.0 program. Based on the results of data analysis obtained a value of = 0.633 with a sig value. = 0.000 (p < 0.05) so it can be concluded that religiosity has a significant positive relationship with academic resilience. This study can be used by students to improve their academic resilience through religiosity that is applied in everyday life.
