Abstract

Learning media is a tool that functions to convey learning messages. So it can be said that, this form of communication will not run without the help of means to convey messages. Stimulus forms can be used as a medium, including human interaction or interaction, reality, moving images or not, writing and sound. The objectives of this research are: 1) to see the implementation of the al-Qur’an reading and writing program for the students at the Griya Qur’an Village Foundation. 2) see the description of the use of media in learning to read and write al-Qur’an for students at the Griya Qur’an Village Foundation 3) The appropriateness of the use of learning media for the students' al-Qur’an writing achievement at the Griya Qur’an Village Foundation. In this study, using qualitative descriptive research, namely research that describes the effectiveness of using learning media to improve the reading and writing achievement of the al-Qur’an students at the Griya Qur’an Village Foundation. The data in this study were collected from interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research on the effectiveness of using learning media to improve the reading and writing achievement of the al-Qur’an students at the Griya Qur’an Village Foundation are the existence of various kinds of innovations in al-Qur’an reading and writing learning programs that have been implemented, namely the existence of a learning curriculum arranged at each level according to class levels, namely tahsin class, class tartil, and tahfidz class. Learning of the Griya Qur’an Village Foundation uses a blended learning system, which is online or offline so that it is very suitable for the conditions during the current pandemic. Before the learning was carried out, ustadz ustadzah had prepared weekly as a guide for teaching for the next week so that the learning process was more focused according to the main objective. The use of media in the learning and writing of the al-Qur’an for students at the Griya Qur’an Village Foundation is in the form of printed media for the teaching and learning game snake, magnetic arrows, flashcards, kun fayakun books, books on Arabic writing skills. The audiovisual media used are in the form of audio and video recordings. Furthermore, the current media used are the application of hijaiyyah letters and tajwid, created from Microsoft PowerPoint. The effectiveness of the use of learning media for the students' achievement in reading and writing al-Qur’an at the Griya Qur’an Village Foundation is going well, this is shown by a positive response from the walisantri, as well as the learning atmosphere is more fun, conducive, students learn with enthusiasm and do not feel bored.
