Abstract

Kartasura District consists of 12 villages and sub-districts which have 85 toponyms for the Kartasura Kasunanan era from 1680-1745 which underwent a name change in 1932 and now. The research method used is history and literature analysis. The literature data used comes from the pictographic source of the Kraton Kartasura Placement Sketch by R. Ng. Mintobudoyo Surakarta collection of the Yogyakarta Archaeological Center Library, Kartasura District in 2020 Figures from BPS, DG Map 30.55 and DG Map 30.56 from KITLV collection, Pratelan Wontenipun Candhi, Reca, Patilasan, Padusan Sasamipun, ing Bawah, Kitha Regency, Surakarta Volume 1 collection of the Radya Pustaka Museum's Library, and Widya Pradana's Literary Translation of the Lestari Sastra Foundation collection. The results of this research are Toponymy Distribution Map of Kartasura Sunanate and Classification Map of Kartasura Toponymous Changes. The toponym distribution of the Kartasura Kasunanan era is in the form of socio-economic groups spread across all villages or sub-districts in Kartasura District except Gonilan Village. The distribution of the dynamics of the Kartasura Kasunanan toponym that occurred in 1932 and is currently happening in all villages or sub-districts in Kartasura District except Gonilan Village and Makamhaji Village.
