Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the validity and reliability of the love for the homeland character in singing the national anthem of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Purwodadi in the 2019/2020 school year. This type of research is quantitative research. This research method used is descriptive. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDN 2 Purwodadi. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. The validity test uses Product Moment, and the reliability test uses Cronbach's Alpha. The results showed that item 1 was 0.439, item 2 was 0.413, item 3 was 0.612, item 4 was 0.384, item 5 was 0.517, item 6 was 0.356, item 7 was 0.490, item 8 was 0.361, item 9 was 0.400, item 10 is 0.381, item 11 is 0.704, item 12 is 0.485, item 13 is 0.368, item 14 is 0.423, item 15 is 0.392, item 16 is 0.499, item 17 is 0.424, item 18 is 0.399, item 19 is 0.494, and item 20 is 0.527. From the results of the Rcount for each questionnaire item, it can be seen that it is greater than Rtable of 0.349 so it can be concluded that all questionnaire items are declared valid and can be used in further research.
