Abstract

A payroll information system is one of the systems needed in a company. CV. Sari Makmur is a business entity engaged in the procurement of construction goods and services. In CV. Sari Makmur Karanganyar payroll still uses the conventional system, namely salaries are calculated manually using Microsoft Excel and employee data storage only uses Microsoft Word. This is considered less effective because it is vulnerable to losing employee data and monthly payroll reports. The purpose of the researcher is to develop a system that can facilitate the admin in calculating salaries, storing employee data, salary slips, and monthly payroll reports. The development of this information system uses the waterfall method which includes system requirements, software requirements, analysis, program design, coding, testing, and operations. The system is tested using the black box testing method with the results that the system has been running well and is feasible to use.
