Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of tutoring services for children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Surakarta. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was performed through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Research results: Tutoring services for children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), namely through special services with direct guidance and therapy. Guidance is carried out by providing special assistance when children experience learning difficulties. Therapy given to children with ADHD is done through behavioral therapy and cognitive therapy. Behavioral therapy is carried out by encouraging children to be able to control their ADHD symptoms. Cognitive therapy is done by controlling symptoms by changing the way the child thinks and views a condition faced by the child. The factors that cause student learning difficulties are Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, namely factors from themselves including students who are less careful and lacking in certain subjects and factors from the environment include friends who invite them to play and some students who tend not to want to be friends. Solutions to overcome the difficulties of student tutoring services Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder are carried out through: Individual Guidance, Group Guidance, Collaboration with Parents.
