Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence on performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This research was conducted on employees of the Peusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Surakarta by using a total sample of 85 respondents. The sampling technique is probability sampling and the number of respondents is determined using the Hair formula, namely the number of indicators multiplied by 5-10. The data analysis technique used is SEM-PLS whose calculations are assisted by the SmartPLS 3.2.9 program. The Partial Least Square (PLS) model evaluation analysis is carried out by evaluating the outer model and evaluating the inner model. The results of data analysis show that emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence have a significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Then cultural intelligence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB)have a significant positive effect on performance, while emotional intelligence has a negative and insignificant effect on performance. The results of data analysis also show that Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) mediates the effect of emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence on performance.
