Abstract
The condition of the water catchment area is an area that is able to pass water into the ground. Kekeking that hit every year resulted in reduced water availability, there were several factors that resulted in reduced water supply, namely land use, rainfall, soil type, rock type, slope. This study aims to 1) Analyze the distribution of water infiltration conditions in Sragen Regency, 2) Determine the dominant factors that affect water absorption. This study used survey methods and data analysis, for field sampling using purposive sampling method. The research parameters were rainfall, soil type, rock type, soil texture, slope and land use. Parameters will affect to determine the ability of infiltration and the ability of the condition of the water catchment area in Sragen Regency. Sragen Regency has 5 natural infiltration capabilities, namely large, rather large, medium, rather small and small, natural infiltration capability is dominated by moderate infiltration 4 capacity with a land area of 36681,076 Ha, spread in the Districts of Tangen, Jenar, Sukodono, Mondokan and Sumberlawang. There are six classes of water catchment conditions in Sragen Regency, namely good, normal natural, starting to critical, slightly critical, critical and very critical. Sragen Regency has a rather critical water catchment condition with an area of 28793,570 Ha, a rather critical condition is influenced by factors of soil type and soil texture with a small infiltration process, as well as the existence of less than optimal land use such as the number of factory buildings or settlements, the distribution of infiltration conditions is rather critical in the area. Tangen, Gesi, Jenar, Mondokan and Sumberlawang sub-districts. The dominant physical factors found in natural infiltration are dominated at level 3 with the parameter value of soil type 135, rock type 48, soil texture 81, slope 72 and rainfall 9, all of these factors influence and dominate the natural infiltration process and water absorption conditions. in Sragen district.
