Abstract

Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) show that population growth causes an increase in all aspects of society, including Semarang city and Solo city in terms of transportation facilities and infrastructure. Discrete Choice Analysis predicts decisions that influence the determination of travel, determine the probability of road uses, create available scenarios with difference binary logit model and ratio binary logit model. 291 respondents filling in the questionnaires, using the variables namely, cost, time, and availability were made in 12 scenarios setting, existing (now),experienced an increased and decrease. The selected modes are toll roads and non-toll roads. The analysis results show that as many as 81,4% toll road users and 18,6% non-toll road users. The factor that influences the choice of mode is time by calculating bisonbiogeme has a significant value of -0,597. While using the difference binary logit model has a value of α= -0,2724 and value of β= 0,0264 using the ratio binary logit model has a value of α= 1,9601 and value of β= 0,9357.
