Abstract
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a contagious disease caused by virus dengue and occurs in more than 100 countries around the world. Mertan village is a village that is included in the 3 prevalence areas with the highest DHF 2020 in Kab. Sukoharjo, namely with a total of 6 cases of DHF, DHF is influenced by various factors including the practice of PSN which consists of 3M Plus. This study aims to describe descriptively the relationship between mosquito nest boundaries and dengue fever in Health Cadres Mertan Village, Sukoharjo Regency. This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted in Mertan Village, Bendosari District, Sukoharjo Regency, starting from November 2020 to March 2021 with 22 health cadres as respondents using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The results showed the practice of PSN health cadre is good so that there are no cases of DHF among health cadres that none of the health cadres or their families suffered from dengue during January-December 2020. Total of 13 (59.1%) respondents had good mosquito nest eradication practices, and 9 (40.9%) respondents had less god mosquito nest eradication practices.From the results of the study, 22 respondents had good PSN practices in the practice of processing used goods. It is recommended that the role of the Health Office be further enhanced by providing adequate information about DHF to instill a positive attitude that is already owned by respondents and to conduct more training for health cadres so that cadre knowledge increases and can be distributed to Mertan villagers.
