Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of profit sharing, promotional costs, and gross domestic product on mudharabah deposits at Bank Syariah Mandiri. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with the data source used is secondary data from the financial statements of PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Tbk in the quarter from the 2010-2019 period. The analytical method used to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable using multiple linear regression OLS (Ordinary Least Square) with the tool Eviews 10. The results showed that simultaneously or collectively the Profit Sharing, Promotion Cost and GDP variables had an effect on the dependent variable, namely Mudharabah Deposits. The p-value, probability, or statistical empirical significance of F is 0.0000 (<0.10). Partially or individually the Profit Sharing variable has a positive and significant effect on mudharabah deposits indicated by the p value, probability, or t statistical empirical significance of 0.0000 (<0.01). The promotion cost variable has a negative and insignificant effect on mudharabah deposits indicated by the p value, probability, or t statistical empirical significance of 0.5873 (> 0.10). The GDP variable (Gross Domestic Product) has a positive and significant effect on mudharabah deposits as indicated by the p value, probability, or t statistical empirical significance of 0.0438 (<0.05). Based on the results of the calculation of the determination test, the coefficient of determination is 97.66% and the remaining 2.34% is influenced by variables or other factors outside the model.
