Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the principal's performance on managerial main tasks towards the realization of learning quality, 2) Describe the principal's performance in the main task of developing entrepreneurship towards the realization of quality learning, 3) Describe the performance of the principal on the main task of supervision towards the learning of quality. This research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Banyudono. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation of techniques and sources. The results showed that: 1) The performance of the principal in the managerial main task of compiling the School Work Plan, School Activity Plan and Budget. The principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Banyudono has a plan to realize the quality of education at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Banyudono, namely, compiling the SWOT results for the system functions of SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Banyudono, setting periodic targets for school achievement, ratifying educational quality assurance and school administrative regulations, compiling innovative visionary programs religious education, arranging personal support and evaluation schedules to achieve optimal work motivation and managing educators and education personnel, managing students, managing school facilities and infrastructure, managing school financing that refers to management standards. 2) The performance of the principal in the main task of entrepreneurship in developing entrepreneurship programs in schools includes improving the quality of learning, by empowering and developing all existing resources in the school environment, creating renewal, creating creative and innovative programs, empowering the potential of schools through students who are given special activities in learning or extracurricular activities. 3) The principal's performance in the main task of academic supervision in order to increase teacher professionalism. To conduct supervision of the principal, form a supervision assistant team consisting of senior teachers. Supervision activities are followed up, this activity means that the results of academic supervision are evaluated. Through the supervision of the principal, he can assess and provide guidance to improve the quality of the learning process and professionalism as well as be the success of the supervision program.
