Abstract
Market waste management is needed to maintain the health of the market environment and requires the participation of traders who are influenced by the knowledge and attitudes of traders. This literature review aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of traders and waste management in the market. All journals in the literature review are downloaded via Google Scholar and Garuda Journal with the keywords "knowledge and attitudes of traders with market waste management", "merchant participation with market waste management", "market sanitation factors", "knowledge and attitude of traders in market waste management "," participation of traders in market waste management "," market sanitation factors ". Inclusion criteria, namely the purpose of research articles to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of traders about waste management in the market from 2010-2020, the independent variables are knowledge and attitudes of traders, the dependent variable is waste management in the market, journals published with ISSN or indexed SINTA , can be accessed in full text, using a cross sectional approach. The method used is to summarize the journal, analyze, and draw conclusions. The results of four of the six journals showed a relationship between knowledge and waste management in the market and five of the six journals showed a relationship between attitudes and waste management in the market. Waste management in the market is influenced by the knowledge and attitudes of traders. The majority of traders from the six journals have good knowledge and attitudes, but there are other factors that cause poor waste management, namely laziness, habits, low education, traders have paid waste retribution so they don't want to contribute, and less optimal regulations. Traders are expected to increase awareness of protecting the market environment and participate in waste management in the market.
