Abstract

The development of the banking industries in Indonesia can be said as very rapid today.The existence of a level of competition between banks, both banks labeled as red plate owned by the government/HIMBARA (Association of State Banks) and National Private Banks, Foreign Banks to BPRs in Indonesia, demands more innovation from each of the banking industry, to create banking industry business system that can grow healthily and trusted by the public. In this case, researchers will conduct research on one of the banking industry companies, namely Bank X, which is a subsidiary of a state owned company, with a focus on the banking business sector which is raising public funds in the form of deposits or commonly known as third party funds (DPK), the purpose of this research is to analyze how is the marketing communication strategies of Bank X Solo Branch Office to obtain savings customers.This study uses a qualitative method, the theory that will be used is persuasive theory with qualitative data analysis method. The results of this study show that the marketing communication strategies conducted by Bank X Solo Branch Office are approaching and always maintain good communication with its customers, provide solutions to every complaint they’ve experienced through various persuasive channels, and provide the best products and services while paying attention to the needs of each customer
