Abstract

Education for the Indonesian people is one of the areas of great concern because it is one of the objectives of the formation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia which wants its citizens to become smart citizens in living life. One of the institutions that teaches Arabic learning at every grade level in Indonesia is SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar, which was founded in 2003, which is domiciled in Gumpang village, Kartasura sub-district, Sukoharjo regency, Central Java Province. The purpose of this study is to describe learning Arabic based on information and communication technology (ICT) at Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Elementary School during the Covid-19 pandemic in the 2020/2021 academic year which includes planning, implementation and evaluation of Arabic learning. From these objectives, it is hoped that this research can be used to provide scientific contributions in enriching religious knowledge, especially regarding Arabic language learning based on information and communication technology (ICT). This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research uses the type of field research (Field Research). Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by means of observation, interview and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation and (3) drawing conclusions / verification. From the results of research and data analysis and conclusions, it was found that learning Arabic based on information and communication technology (ICT) at Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Elementary School during the Covid-19 pandemic in the 2020/2021 academic year was quite good and quite effective. (1) Planning for learning Arabic based on information and communication technology at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar during the Covid-19 pandemic for the 2020/2021 academic year has been going well, this is evidenced by the preparation of a curriculum that is in accordance with educational goals and making a syllabus and Learning Operational Standards (SOP) by Arabic teachers that were systematically compiled during a pandemic. (2) The implementation of Arabic language learning based on information and communication technology at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar during the Covid-19 pandemic for the 2020/2021 academic year was carried out with three programs, namely, online, offline programs, and evaluation programs with google form and offline. Overall everything is going well, and according to the curriculum prepared according to learning during the pandemic. (3) Meanwhile, in the evaluation of learning Arabic based on information and communication technology at SDIT MUHAMMADIYAH AL-KAUTSAR during the COVID-19 academic year 2020/2021, it uses 3 forms of evaluation, namely diagnostic evaluation (initial stage), formative evaluation (second stage). , and summative evaluation (final stage).
