Abstract
Based on Article 1313 of the Civil Code, an agreement is an act whereby one or more people bind themselves to one or more other people. There are five principles of agreement known to civil law. These principles are the principle of freedom of contract, the principle of consensualism, the principle of legal certainty (pacta sunt servanda), the principle of good faith, and the principle of personality. Banks usually make an agreement in every product it offers, one of which is in credit card products. The agreement made on the credit card publication is made in a standard agreement. A standard agreement is an agreement in which it has been determined unilaterally and the contents of the agreement. Although there are many experts who argue that the agreement is not in accordance with the principles of the agreement, especially the principle of freedom of contract. However, standard agreements remain law-friendly and reasonable in business traffic due to community needs and there is no law against them.
