Abstract
Covid-19 has spread throughout the world and cases are still a world pandemic to this day. Cases of sufferers of the Covid-19 virus are increasing out of control. WHO and the Indonesian government have made efforts to prevent and reduce the spread of covid-19. The way it is controlled and the impact of a pandemic greatly affects mental health, especially pregnant and postpartum women. Maternal mental health problems are linked to the overall health and function of mothers, as well as the development of their children. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of mental health knowledge of pregnant and postpartum women during the Covid-19 pandemic in pregnant women in Brongkol village. The research design in this research is descriptive, with cross sectional approach, the sampling technique uses total sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 32 respondents. The results of the scale mean range 17.5-21, the lowest average score is the sub variable knowledge of mental health of pregnant and postpartum mothers 18.75. Then followed by the sub-variable knowledge about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic period on the mental health of pregnant and postpartum women with a mean value of 20.25. The sub variable is knowledge about the factors that affect the mental health of pregnant and postpartum mothers during the pandemic with a mean value of 20.32. The sub-variable knowledge about covid-19 with a mean of 20.67 and the largest score obtained by the sub-variable of knowledge about the prevention of mental health problems for pregnant and postpartum women during the Covid-19 pandemic with a mean value of 20.83. The conclusion shows that the average respondent's knowledge level is moderate.
