Abstract
Quality of life is an individual's perception of physical and mental health conditions and their relationship to health risks and conditions. The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of life of people with diabetes mellitus who are doing self-healing at home. This research was conducted in December 2020. The number of samples used in this study were 96 respondents. The data collection technique in this study used consecutive sampling technique. The results showed that the description of the quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus who did self-healing, namely diabetes patients who performed prayer therapy were 38 respondents (39.6%) with low quality of life and 3 respondents (3.1%) had moderate quality of life, then respondents with the consumption of supplements 5 respondents (5.2%) of low quality of life and 2 people of low quality of life, respondents with aromatherapy 13 respondents (13.5%) of low quality of life and 4 respondents (4.2%) of moderate quality of life, respondents with therapy music 16 respondents (16.7%) have low quality of life and 11 respondents (11.5%) have moderate quality of life and respondents with massage 2 respondents (2.1%) have low quality of life and 2 respondents (2.1% 0 are quality of life Average quality of life of the respondents, 74 respondents (77.1%) have low quality of life and 22 respondents (22.9%) have low quality of life.
