Abstract

Children's stories are printed media in the form of books which tell stories that are easily understood by children as their main consumers. Through stories, children can explore children's thinking and logic so that it supports children's growth and development. By reading children's stories, children will get education from an early age in addition to the education provided by parents so that it will have an impact in shaping children's character and morale. Children's stories have several genres, one of which is fairy tales. The definition of a fairy tale based on the Language Center is a story where the story does not actually happen, which contains moral messages that can be used as a medium for education for children. Children who read children's stories must get legal protection for children's rights as consumers of children's stories based on Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 2002 concerning Child Protection. As well as in children's stories, they must meet the content requirements as in Law Number 3 of 2017 concerning the Bookkeeping System.
