Abstract
This research is motivated by the need to increase knowledge about earthquake disasters. This study aims to (1) is there a level of development in the use of analog media with erosion material to improve student learning outcomes. (2) are the learning outcomes of using analogue learning media of erosion in VII grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura experiencing an increase. This type of research uses the Dick & Carey model, making analog media. The results showed that the analog media had gone through the validation stage by media experts and material experts with an average value of 4.7 in the "DECENT" category. Learning outcomes in the control and experimental classes with pre-test and post-test have increased. The pre-test mean score of the control class was 45 and the post-test mean score was 58.52. The average value in the experimental class in the pre-test is 64,705 and the average value for the post-test is 84,852. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge of erosion after receiving treatment using analogue learning media. Based on the results of the T-test data, the control class and experimental class data showed a significance value of 0.000 which means <0.05, this indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an increase in the results of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura after the development of learning media analogues to increase students' knowledge of erosion.
