Abstract
This research is entitled Analysis of the Suitability of Industrial Location to the Regional Spatial Plan in Ceper District, Klaten Regency, 2020. The land that has been designated in the Klaten Regency Spatial Plan is often disturbed by rampant development that is not in accordance with government directives, especially on industrial land in Ceper District. The purpose of this research is to (1) determine the distribution of industrial land in Ceper District, (2) Evaluate and analyze the suitability of industrial locations in Ceper District with the Klaten Regency Spatial Plan 2011 to 2031. The study used a survey method. The data analysis method uses the analysis method of remote sensing image interpretation to selectively observe all objects drawn on the entire map. The image used is the Geo-eye 2 image of the Ceper District in 2020 which is processed using the Geographic Information System by digitizing industrial lands in the Ceper District in 2020. Ceper District has an industrial area of 80.23 ha spread across 12 villages. The distribution of industrial land and land area in each village is Ceper village with an area of 15.62%, then Dlimas village with an area of 22.68%, Jambu Kulon village 2.32%, Jombor village 9.83%, Klepu village 10, 25%, Kujon village 1.74%, Kuncen village 3.26%, Kurung village 4.39%, Meger village 5.86%, Mlese village 5.74%, Ngawonggo village 7.43% and Tegalrejo village with an area of 9 , 67%. The village with the largest industrial land area was Dlimas village with an area of 22.68%, while the village with the smallest industrial land area was Kujon village with an area of 1.74%. The suitability of industrial locations in Ceper District is divided into two classes of suitability, namely appropriate and unsuitable. There are 87% or 68.72 ha of the total industrial land area that has been in accordance with the RTRW of Klaten Regency, while the area of industrial land which is not suitable for the total area is 13% or 10.71 ha. Dlimas is the village that has the largest suitability class with an area of 25.93% or 17.85 ha, while Klepu village has the largest unsuitable class with an area of 21.90% or 2.35 ha.
