Abstract

Economic growth can be done by calculating the national income of a country, namely GDP. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has an important role in describing a country's economic growth. This study aims to look at the factors that affect the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) or Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the ASEAN region. Researchers analyzed the role of currency, inflation rate, trade openness and investment as only the main indicators. The quantitative analysis method used used secondary data on a panel for the 2015-2019 period by combining 10 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Brunei, Laos, Cambodia). The results of the t-statistic test show that the amount of money, inflation, and trade openness have a significant effect on GDP growth in ASEAN. Meanwhile, foreign direct investment does not have a significant effect on GDP growth in ASEAN countries. Keywords: Money Supply, Inflation, Openness, Foreign Direct Investment, GDP
