Abstract

Manpower development as part of national development based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945), is carried out in the framework of developing the whole Indonesian people and the development of the Indonesian society as a whole. This study aims 1) to determine the implementation of workers' legal protection at PT. Mutu Gading Tekstil, and 2) knowing how the fulfillment of workers' rights by PT. Mutu Gading Tekstil. The method used in this research is the empirical juridical approach method which is carried out by examining library research, which is legal research by examining library materials or secondary data with research in the field, with descriptive research type namely a clear and complete picture. by collecting, compiling, and analyzing data in order to solve problems in research. The implementation of workers' legal protection at PT. Gading Tekstil's quality has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, this can be seen in the articles in the collective labor agreement, in particular with regard to wages, allowances, social security and employment, and transportation which are already running well. Fulfillment of workers' rights by PT. The quality of Gading Tekstil, can be seen by the existence of 1) wages given based on the fulfillment of duties, obligations and responsibilities that have been carried out, 2) the facilities provided by the company to workers, including the availability of K3 equipment in accordance with the provisions of laws set by the government, 3) workers obtain accurate, fast and correct information with regard to regulations / policies issued by the company, especially those directly related to workers, and 4) workers have the right to provide advice and input for the smooth operation and progress of the company.
