Abstract

This study aims to estimate the factors affecting public consumption in Bali Province in 2010-2019. The analytical method used in this research is panel data regression which is a combination of cross section data (nine districts / cities in Bali Province) and time series data for 10 years (2010-2019). The data used were obtained from the official website of the Bali Province Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). Based on the results of the Chow test and the Hausman test, the best model chosen is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Based on the results of the effect validity test (t test) at the significance level (α) of 0.10; The investment variable has no effect on consumption in Bali Province, the poverty variable has a negative effect, and the UMR and GRDP variables have a positive effect on public consumption in Bali Province in 2010-2019.
