Abstract
Landslides have become a frequent disaster in Padureso District for the last 10 years. Based on data from BPBD, the number of landslides is 30. Landslides occur due to several factors such as geological and hydrographic conditions, topography, climate and weather changes. The purpose of the study was to determine the distribution of landslide susceptibility in Padureso District and its disaster mitigation efforts. The research method uses a survey method to determine the point of landslide occurrence, using a stratified purposive sampling technique. The analysis uses qualitative analysis methods of land unit data and appreciation. The results of this study produce 1) Calculations and survey data for the level of vulnerability are dominated by the moderate level of vulnerability, where there are 27 land units. A wide presentation in Padureso District can be stated as a land unit with a medium vulnerability level of 76% and 2) Landslide disaster mitigation efforts that can be applied in Padureso District there are 3 mitigation efforts, namely for low vulnerability levels to organize a program of outreach activities to the community regarding the impact of land use which are not in accordance with the provisions so as to increase the preparedness and vigilance of the community around landslide-prone locations, mitigation efforts for the level of vulnerability are taking action to avoid water seeping into the slopes or seeking to make water drainage to reduce water entering the slopes during the rainy season and mitigation efforts a high level of vulnerability to reforestation, not constructing buildings in areas of cliffs and moving soil and installing an Early Warning System (EWS) for landslides in areas where landslides often occur. ngsi to help warn the community in carrying out the evacuation process before the landslide disaster occurs.
