Abstract
The objectives of this study are: (a) To determine the learning motivation of students during the pandemic at SMK Negeri 9 Surakarta. (b) To determine the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing student motivation in learning Islamic religious education during the pandemic at SMK Negeri 9 Surakarta. (c) To determine the constraints of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing student motivation during the pandemic in learning Islamic religious education at SMK Negeri 9 Surakarta. his type of research is field research (field resarch) which was conducted at SMK Negeri 9 Surakarta. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation related to data and activities carried out at SMK Negeri 9 Surakarta. This research approach uses a qualitative descriptive approach that begins with collecting data then presenting and concluding the data. The results of this study are: (a) students' motivation in learning Islamic religious education during the pandemic at SMK Negeri 9 Surakarta: it is said to have decreased. This can be seen from the way students learn and teach: students are not serious about learning and only log in when learning online. (b) the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing student motivation in learning Islamic religious education during the pandemic at SMK Negeri 9 Surakarta that Islamic religious education teachers strive as: 1) Giving value, 2) Competition Competition, 3) Ego-Involvement, 4 ) Give Deuteronomy, 5) Know the learning outcomes, 6) Praise, 7) Punishment. (c) the constraints of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing student motivation during the pandemic in learning Islamic religious education at SMK Negeri 9 Surakarta, there are several causes, namely: 1) Limited Mastery of Information Technology by Teachers and Students, 2) Inadequate Facilities and Infrastructure Adequate, 3) Limited Internet access, and 4) Inadequate budget provision.
