Abstract
This study aims to determine the self-presentation strategy of alter ego users on twitter on the fanbase @ alterbase18plus account. This research is a qualitative research, the technique of taking informants using purposive sampling technique. Data collection using the interview method. The results showed that: The self-presentation strategy of alter ego users in @ alterbase18plus on the account @hichxxxx, @pandongxxxx, @pandangixxxx, @ybbbagxxxx, Twitter is in the form of Ingratiation, Self Promotion, while the supplication strategy is only done by one account, namely @hichxxxx. only promotions related to the services offered.
