Abstract

Electrical power distribution system is inseparable from the 3 phases distribution transformer that has function to step up and step down the main voltage value from the electrical distribution system for the voltage utilizationof consumer use. During the design of the electrical distribution system, the distribution of the load transformers for each phase will be designed in a balanced manner, but in reality the load of each phase will be difficult to be balanced because the load usage of each phase are different. If that thing happens, it will cause a shrinkage of the power that will harm PT PLN (Persero) and also it will reduce the level of electricity efficiency.The calculation and simulation with ETAP 12.6.0 on the influence of imbalance transformer load, aims to make the electricity provider knows which transformer have large imbalance value and anticipate it by balancingthe load so that, the resulting loss of power has small value. Based on the analysis that has been carried on the distribution transformer of the PLN rayon Boyolali area, the vlue of the power loss due to the largest neutral conductor is 10091,31 Watt on the BY1-16/29A and the power loss due to current flowing to the ground is 15440,69 Watt on the BY1-93 transformer.
