Abstract

The objectives of this study were to: 1) describe the online-based thematic learning planning at SDIT Permata Bunda; 2) describe the preparation of educators at SDIT Permata Bunda; 3) describe the implementation of online-based thematic learning at SDIT Permata Bunda; 4) describe the evaluation of the implementation of online-based thematic learning at SDIT Permata Bunda. This type of research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological design. With this method the researcher wants to explore the phenomena that occur in the field. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed 1) online-based thematic learning planning was designed in accordance with policies regarding distance learning (PJJ) during the Covid-19 pandemic; 2) The placement of educators is not in accordance with their field of competence so that teachers take further studies at the Open University (UT) as an equalization of elementary school teachers that is not linear; 3) the implementation of online-based thematic learning in the preparation of learning objectives refers to the basic competencies and indicators arranged based on the syllabus, learning materials are sourced from student books and other references which are packaged in the form of instructional videos, the methods used are lectures and assignments, learning media used is the Whatsapp application, learning evaluation consists of aspects that are assessed (affective, cognitive, psychomotor), assessment techniques (observation, tests, performance, products), and follow-up (remedial and enrichment) on learning outcomes; 4) Evaluation of the implementation of online-based thematic learning is carried out by the Principal by assessing RPP and assessments in class.
