Abstract

This study aims to determine how Lazismu's role in the economic empowerment of the ummah is carried out by Lazismu Kab. Boyolali. This research method uses qualitative methods and data collection methods. The purpose of this research is to find out and get information about concepts and programs in improving Ummah Economic Empowerment. This research was conducted on October 14, 2020. The results of this study indicate that the existence of Lazismu Kab. Boyolali is beneficial for the community in overcoming increasingly complex social problems and poverty, especially for the lower middle class, so as to foster a community with a persistent and professional business spirit. The existence of infaq and shadaqah zakat funds lent to mustahiqs so that they can be independent and develop their business is an alternative way that needs to be developed in the economic empowerment of the ummah. However, it is necessary to be careful in choosing a mustahiq candidate in the hope that the funds are used for the right purpose so that the return of business capital that has been issued by you is not stuck, and which in turn can be distributed to other mustahiqs.
