Abstract

Abstract Humans in various parts of the world in 2020 were struck by a very frightening epidemic, namely Covids-19. The spread of the Covids outbreak was even more comprehensive in the countries of the world so it was worthy of being called a Pandemic. The impact of the Covids pandemic, which originated in Wuhan, China, is very broad, encompassing various aspects of life, from health, economics, politics, and education. In the context of education, the Covids outbreak really changed the ways of our mainstream education world in the form of face-to-face learning to online or e-learning. This learning phenomenon occurs almost comprehensively in the world of education in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to describe distance learning by means of a discussion method. The research method in this paper is in the field (field research), therefore the data is obtained by interview (interview). This research is descriptive-qualitative, because it describes the facts in words (verbally). The research results obtained from the field by interviewing that distance learning using the discussion method is quite effective. In delivering Islamic religious education material the students are enthusiastic in participating in the learning and the atmosphere comes alive. They are more active than if the material was delivered using the lecture method. Keywords: discussion method, daring/e-learning media, covids pandemic.
